Mannschafts-Entwicklung
Im Jahr 2008, sechs Jahre vor der Gründung der Spielgemeinschaft, haben beide Vereine je eine Mannschaft in der 1. Kreisklasse angemeldet. Durch die umtriebige Jugendarbeit in den Abteilungen gelangen beiden Mannschaften Aufstieg um Aufstieg. Im Jahr 2011 musste der TSV Adendorf die Mannschaft, inzwischen in der Bezirksklasse angekommen, zurückziehen, da einige Spieler für das Studium den Verein verließen. In der Folgesaison 2011/2012 konnte der TuS Brietlingen die Meisterschaft in der Bezirksklasse feiern. Für die Saison 2012/2013 schlossen sich zwei ehemalige Adendorfer Spieler dem TuS Brietlingen an, sodass die Meisterschaft in der Bezirksliga und damit der Durchmarsch in die Verbandsklasse gefeiert werden konnte. Die erste saison
Die erste Saison (2014/2015) nach der Gründung der Spielgemeinschaft Brietlingen/Adendorf verlief in allen Bereichen äußerst erfolgreich. Die 1. Mannschaft konnte die Meisterschaft in der Verbandsklasse Lüneburg feiern und damit den Aufstieg in die Landesliga Nord klar machen. Die 2. Mannschaft erreichte einen guten 2. Platz in der Kreisliga Lüneburg/Harburg. In der kommenden Saison soll ganz klar der Aufstieg in die Bezirksklase angegriffen werden. Die 3. Mannschaft in der 2. Kreisklasse wurde erneut durch zwei Jugendspieler verstärkt und soll mindestens um den Aufstieg in die 1. Kreisklasse mitspielen.
Jugend
Im Jugendbereich nehmen vier Mannschaften am Punktspielbetrieb teil. In der abgelaufenen Saison 2014/2015 konnte sich die SG Brietlingen/Adendorf sowohl in der U19 Kreisliga, als auch in der U15 Bezirksklasse sowie in der U13 Kreisliga die Meisterschaft sichern.In der kommenden Spielzeit 2015/2016 schickt die SG B/A zwei U19-Mannschaften ins Rennen, wobei die J2 vor allem aus Schülern der Altersklasse U15 und U13 besteht. In der Kreisliga U15 werden drei Mannschaften von der SG B/A an den Start gehen.
Die jüngere Vergangenheit
Nach der Gründung der SG Brietlingen/Adendorf wurden die ersten beiden Mannschaften vom TuS Brietlingen übernommen und waren in den letzten Jahren schon erfolgreich. Die 1.Mannschaft wurde in den letzten sieben Spielzeiten drei Mal Meister und stieg insgesamt fünf Mal auf, wovon allein drei Aufstiege in Folge gelangen. In der abgelaufenen Spielzeit 2013/2014 wurde das Team Vizemeister und geht erneut ambitioniert in die neue Saison 2014/2015.
